AC Rugby Foundation

The Winged Foot Rugby Foundation was formed in 2004 by a group of ex-NYAC Rugby players that wanted to give something back to the sport of Rugby. To date, the Foundation has made donations to the NYAC 15’s and 7’s teams and numerous other rugby organizations. The Winged Foot Rugby Foundation was renamed to the AC Rugby Foundation in 2018 but their goals have remained the same:

1) “to foster and promote the growth and development of Rugby Football in the United States, particularly in the greater New York metropolitan area and to increase awareness of the game of rugby, its traditions and its dedication to amateurism,”

and

2) “to foster national and international amateur sports competition, specifically Rugby Football, and to support and develop amateur athletes for that competition.”

In accordance with its mission to promote amateur rugby, the Foundation continues to support rugby organizations, teams and players with financial constraints in the greater New York metropolitan area and to provide opportunity in hope that their potential is realized to the fullest.

By making a contribution to the foundation you will be helping to support these dedicated athletes and to promote the game of Rugby, the sportsmanship it teaches and the camaraderie that it promotes.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the foundation.

Thank you for your support.
